Straight from the shore of Lake Superior! We bring them home and tumble the rocks until they are smooth and have a satin glow. We drill each stone and then permanently attach the base. We finish them with a quality sealer to keep them looking great for years to come. Plenty of lightly speckled stones in stock. Please request a photo if you have any doubts or send me a convo. I usually respond within minutes.

Dark Basalt stone knob - it goes with everything! All the stones are shades of black/gray/dark green/dark brown with some speckling, spots or lines. Sheen, shape and height will vary on each stone. These are different from my other listings because of the black stem (the others have silver or weathered brass)

BIG LAKE COLLECTION: emphasizes colors and character - these are generally not basalt and they can be light to medium in color
SOLID: mostly dark basalt stone that could have minimal light speckling or lines
SPECKLED: dark stone with light spots/speckles - think stars in a night sky!
Dark with VARIATIONS: Dark stones with variations of stripes, streaks, blotches and spots which can be different colors
